Terms of Service
Last updated · July 17, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Octave, an AI advisory-board product operated by SymphonyAI (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Octave.
1. The service
Octave lets you put a business question to a panel of AI advisors, each of which responds from a distinct discipline, and a synthesizing “Chairman” that resolves those responses into a single recommendation. Octave produces AI-generated content for informational purposes only. It is not professional, legal, financial, tax, or investment advice, and no advisor persona represents a real individual endorsing the output.
2. Your account
You are responsible for the activity that occurs under your account and for keeping your login credentials secure. You must be at least 18 years old and provide accurate account information. You may not share, resell, or provide unauthorized access to the service.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Octave to violate any law, infringe intellectual property, submit others’ confidential information without authorization, attempt to reverse-engineer or disrupt the service, or generate content that is unlawful, harmful, or deceptive. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms.
4. Your content
You retain ownership of the questions, documents, and other materials you submit (“Input”) and of the responses generated for you (“Output”). You grant us a limited license to process your Input and Output to operate, secure, and improve the service. You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to submit any Input, including uploaded documents.
5. AI-generated output
AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your specific circumstances. You are solely responsible for evaluating output before relying on it and for any decisions you make. Octave is provided as a decision-support tool, not a substitute for qualified professional judgment.
6. Fees
Some features are billed per use or by subscription. Applicable pricing is presented before you incur a charge. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
7. Disclaimers & liability
The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, SymphonyAI is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
8. Changes & contact
We may update these Terms from time to time; material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date above. Questions about these Terms can be sent to hello@symphonyai.agency.
